 Title: Ministry Past Year Update

01/01/2011

January through September

We continue to do the work of the Lord. This was a very challenging year. Our finances required a lot of faith to keep going, but God is faithful and the Ministry is still going on in the name of the Lord. We had guests from Africa and started having meetings in our Ministry headquarters as we had done in the past. This was a blessing to all that attended. The power of God could be felt in a glorious way in these meetings. We are encouraged to continue with more meetings at our headquarters.

We were host to Redeeming Encounters Ministries out of Seattle Washington. There was a death in our family this year. My Daughter Cheryl’s husband is now with the Lord. We were invited to preach twice this year for a Spanish speaking church in San Jose. Anglesia Misionera del Camino where Jose Amparan is the Pastor. The love those people showed me will never be forgotten. In September we were blessed to have Peggy Cole and Pastor George Chigwada minister together for our WOV. We called it a one day prophetic conference.

The Lord has blessed us with approximately 10 Ministries that have come out of our Ministry (International NewWave). These Ministries conduct their Ministries under their own 501c3 government status.

We had our first meeting with these leaders this year. It turned out to be a very fruitful meeting. We believe the Lord would have us meet with them again in this year 2011. We all need to be accountable.

This year we had our first Internal Revenue Audit of our Ministries activities. Needless to say I was very nervous. But God is good. There was nothing lacking and we got a very good report. There was only one mistake and it was on their part not ours. We really praise God for a beautiful report. Thank God you may still donate with confidence and receive your Tax Deductions.

Aglow International invited me to speak for them both in Newark and San Jose. That was a real blessing it had been a long time since I preached at an Aglow meeting. The doors to Minister continue to open for me around the state of California. I preached for Logos Christian Fellowship Women’s Retreat.

Women of Valor continue to have our regular monthly mentoring meetings. We also had two seminars this year the subject was Apostolic People. The WOV membership is still growing.

From January to September we preached from place to place around California and here in our own Ministry Headquarters. During the year we were host to other Ministers. The Lord has moved in a mighty way this year. We were blessed by your giving to purchase some inexpensive video equipment. Our meetings are now recorded on CD and DVD and are available for purchase after most meetings.

October through December

The Highlights for this Year 2010 was our International Trip

Women of Valor Nairobi Kenya

On October 12th the team and I boarded the airplane for Nairobi to preach at the Women of Valor Kenya Conference. This is one of the International Ministries that has come out of our Ministry. I praise God that he has allowed me to see some of the fruit of my labor. There was four of us on this team. Tamara Ratcliff of Neighborhood Baptist Church in San Francisco, Dolores Cook of Golden Altars Ministries in San Jose, Carolyn Robinson of Jubilee South Valley in San Jose and yours truly Dorothy Daniels.

We arrived about 10:00pm. Some of the WOV Kenya met us at the airport and took us to the Guest House where we stayed during our stay in Nairobi. The next morning we met with the WOV and was informed about the scheduling and details of the conference. They brought with them a seamstress who took our measurements and three days later brought the whole team matching dresses. What a wonderful surprise. Then we were taken to the Ayany Primary school where the WOV Kenya & WOV USA help support some 12 or more orphans. We presented them with Hygiene materials.

The next day our WOV Kenya Conference started. The theme was “Stepping Into Your New Season”. The WOV Kenya did an excellent job of putting this three day conference together. The attendance was much more than expected. As we all had our time to preach there was healings, deliverance, enlightenment, confirmations and much encouragement to the people of Nairobi. Even though this was a Women’s Conference men also came and were blessed. After the conference our team split and went to several slums in Nairobi. Dolores and Carolyn went to the Pumwani slum and preached in the churches there. Tamara and I went to Kibera (the worst and largest slum in Nairobi) Where Tamara sang and I did some teaching. The pastor there said he had never heard such teaching. These people have so little yet they are so happy in praising the Lord. Those of us here in America don’t realize how the Lord has blessed us.

Mombasa Kenya

On Oct 19th we journeyed on by bus to Mombasa Kenya. Joyce Musungu (President WOV Nairobi) and Loice Asilia joined the team. We preached and did much teaching there. We saw prophecy fulfilled in this place. It had been eight years since the last time I was there. I gave them some prophecies about the enlargement of the church. Eight years ago it was a very small church holding perhaps about 50 people and it was full to overflowing at every service. This year we were surprised to see how the Lord has fulfilled his word. The Pastor of the church Erastus Tuara is now a Bishop, overseeing several churches. It was a blessing to see some of the men that I had ministered to in the past are now pastors of their own churches. The new church with the same name (Sanctuary of Praise) now holds approximately 1,000 people and was full to capacity at the Sunday Morning Service where I, Tamara and Carolyn preached. Dolores preached at one of the sister churches.

We were welcomed every where we went. We preached their in Mombasa for 5 days and was housed in a beautiful old cottage by the beach. We also was taken on a tour of the area were slaves were kept in holding while waiting for ships to carry them to places like the islands and America. Many slaves were taken from this place. This was like going back in time. It is unbelievable how some of these places look. No toilets very little vents for air. Some of these places were underground. The Paths they took to board the ships are still there.

Harare Zimbabwe

On Oct 26th we boarded the airplane for Harare, Zimbabwe to preach at Christ the Rock Women’s Conference. It has been our honor to preach at every Christ The Rock Women’s Conference since they began the Women’s Ministry at the Church. This was our 11th time to preach in their conference. Because of the economy, in the year 2008 and 2009 we could not travel to Zimbabwe but for the same reason they could not hold their annual Women’s Conference. Tamara and Loice didn’t travel with us to Zimbabwe.

Our team consisted of myself, Joyce, Carolyn and Dolores. We all had our time of preaching in the Conference. On the last night of the Conference the Men of Christ the Rock Church joined us. Along with them came Bishop Burns of Lumberton Mississippi who had been preaching at the church while the women were in the conference at Resthaven Retreat. It was nice to have the men join us on the last night. Gifts were presented to all of us guest speakers. It was a real time of celebration.
Susan Chigwada the founder of the Women’s Ministry was presented with an Honorary Doctorate Degree from Bishop Burns and his organization. Sunday the 31st of October in the Morning Service of Christ The Rock Ministries Pastor George Chigwada (Pastor of the church) was installed as a Bishop. It was our honor to be part of this service. What a beautiful service it was. Monday morning we shopped for souvenirs to bring home.

Zvimba Zimbabwe

Tuesday we went into the Rural Area of Zvimba (a two hour drive from Harare) where Pastor George has planted a new church. These people make their own bricks for the building. We got a chance to see where they make the bricks and how it is done. We did not preach inside for various reasons. We preached outside in the open. Needless to say the people were very glad to have us come.

When the meeting was over The Usher of the church presented Susan with a live Chicken in appreciation for what the Church has done for them. This is a big thing for them to give away a chicken. This represents meat and eggs for their food. There are not a lot of visitors into these areas. We had to be finished before dark because there is no electricity or running water. Bishop Burns and I brought the word of the Lord to these people. The Pastor of this little remote church is seeing miracles on a regular basis. After the meeting we fellowshipped around food they had prepared. I don’t know how they do that with no Stove. On Wednesday we headed home to the USA.

Screen_shot_2011-02-28_at_9.14.48_PM.pngScreen_shot_2011-02-28_at_9.15.08_PM.pngWhen writing, time does not permit us to tell of all the miraculous things the Lord has done and the lives that have been changed, blessed and edified. To tell of how the Lord used all of us to preach the Gospel to the poor, lay hands on the sick, comfort the weary and bind up the broken hearted. Because of our trip to Nairobi, Mombasa and Zimbabwe we know that many lives will never be the same.

Our plans this year 2011 is to take a team to the islands of Samoa and American Samoa. We planted a WOV ministry in each of these locations in 2009. We did not have the funds to visit them in 2010 but we believe that the Lord would have us go mentor them this year 2011.

Please be informed that we believe the Lord would have us make good use of the resources he has provided for us; and make wise use of the financial support from you our partners.  Therefore, we are no longer mailing our meeting announcement; instead we will send them by e-mail.  For those that do not have e-mail we will continue to mail them.

If you do not have e-mail please contact us at 408-945-8736. If your e-mail address has changed please send us your new address

Please continue to send your prayer requests and praise reports.

Declare with me:

  • We shall have a little bit of heaven in 2011
  • May the blessings of the Lord run after you an over take you in this year 2011.

Thanks for your support. Because of you I am able to continue in Ministry.

In his service Dorothy Daniels and the WOV Team

The Holiday season was delightful this year. This is my favorite time of the year. We were given the opportunity to minister for the Lighthouse United Church in  Seaside Ca. My sermon title was “The Power of Thanksgiving. The Holy Spirit revealed to me that the power of thanksgiving is the giving.

We thank God that he is still opening doors for our ministry. We ministered for  Rivers of Living Waters Ministry in Danville Ca. Maria Nawrath is the president of this ministry and is on fire for the Lord. She is an intercessor and we appreciate her prayers for the WOV Ministry.

Our annual Christmas Party was a Holy Ghost Blast. The attendance was almost to over flowing. We were blessed to give everyone in attendance a Christmas gift. We sighed a sigh of relief when the last person got their gift. We had no idea how many to purchase but praise God no one left disappointed.

The year ended in prayer and fellowship. Praying the old year out and the new year in has been our tradition for many years. After the prayer meeting we eat together and fellowship. The Lord always bless this event.

It was our pleasure to teach at Jubilee San Jose bible college this season. We also ministered at the Jubilee San Jose Women’s ministry. We thank God for these open doors. Jubilee San Jose has been our home church for 27 years. Pastor Bernal has been a great inspiration for this WOV ministry. I am now serving at Jubilee San Jose sister church Jubilee South Valley in Morgan Hill Ca. where Carlos and Maxine Alferez are the Pastors.

It was an honor for WOV to host Barbara Wentroble of International Breakthrough Ministries of Coppel Texas. Barbara was here for two days meeting with her Network of Ministries on the west coast. We were all connecting for breakthrough. These were a powerful mentoring
sessions.

Vessel for Honor (Evang. Isabella Omariba) held her first Conference this year. We praise God that I was among some great speakers. I felt like the least of all among these powerful preachers. The attendance was wonderful and the word was anointed. I love being a part of first time things in the kingdom.

We were also host for Pastor George and Susan Chigwada of Zimbabwe Africa who were part of  the Vessel for Honor conference here in Milpitas. These wonderful people are networking members of WOV ministries and minister all over the USA.

Lighthouse Christian United Church
I was guest speaker at this church in Castroville Ca. where Sally Torres is pastor. We are so proud to serve with Pastor Sally as a networking member of WOV ministry. Every time I preach at her church I see how it is growing. Keep up the good work Pastor Sally.

The highlight of this year was our WOV conference in Apia Samoa. Women of Valor from New Zealand, Zimbabwe and Nairobi Africa and various parts of the US all met together in Samoa for an awesome international conference. The conference lasted four days, ending with a formal banquet fit for a queen. That Sunday after the conference we all were speakers in local churches. All nine of us that went from America had an opportunity to minister. Many, Many souls received the Lord Jesus as Savior in the conference as well as the churches. We also launched a new WOV Ministry while we were there. Elisa Ulberg is our president of Chosen Women of Valor Samoa. We welcome her into the WOV Ministry.
We give thanks to Amelia Nuualiitia our President of WOV New Zealand, for her hard  work in fund raising and coordinating the WOV Samoa Conference.

Shortly after we were back home in the US a devastating storm hit the island. We found that even though lives were lost the people we ministered too were spared. We thank God for those that sent help to the Samoan people. Even though lives were spared much property and goods were not.

While we were away in Samoa we praise God that the Ministry here in the Us continues. Thanks to the team of people here in Milpitas that continued the Breakfast meetings in our absence. Donna Wilson was the speaker for July.

We were pleased to help minister in prayer at Jubilee South Valley women’s retreat. It was held at the Asilamar in Pacific Grove, Ca. This was a wonderful weekend with my sisters in the Lord. The ocean air was very calming. We all needed that time away with the Lord.

Vessel for Honor Ministries. We were the guest speaker for their weekly bible study we ministered on the fruit of the spirit. Isabella Omariba is President of this Ministry and is a Networking member of WOV ministry.
We also supported Barbara Wentroble at a conference in Hayward, Ca.

Our annual Day of Refreshing for members of WOV only. This year the meeting was like none before it. Cindy Cowper of New Wine Church in Placerville Ca was our prophet in the house that day. We do this meeting just for WOV members and it is a closed very intimate meeting. This year we did foot washing. Many of the ladies had never had their feet washed by a spiritual leader. What a Joyous time we had.

School of the Prophets II . our first school of the prophets was such a success we did it again with Jane Nasrallah from Israel as our guest prophetess. What an anointing was in this meeting. The Lord set his approval on this meeting and showed us that mentoring is very much needed in this season. We will be doing more mentoring in the coming year of 2010.

This was a very busy month of Ministry. We were guest speaker for Christine Soto, head intercessor for New Hope Intern’l Church
in Concord, California. We preached for her all night prayer meeting. I was surprised at such a large attendance for such a prayer gathering. Christine has this prayer meeting every quarter. For more information please contact our INWM office.

During the month of April we were host for Gloria Eastland (WOV of Seattle Wa.) She was here for 8 days. It was a pleasure to have her with us. Instead of our usual 4th Saturday WOV Breakfast we did an all day mentoring Seminar entitled “ School of the Prophets”. We were so pleased to have Gloria take part in that beautiful day of mentoring. Pastor Calvin Cook of Golden Altars Ministries, San Jose Ca. was in a heavy anointing as he taught on the gift of prophecy and also prophesied to many.

Found us doing our usual monthly WOV Breakfast meetings.  This has been our practice for six years now. The Lord continue to send people from near and far. They come to hear the word of the Lord from those WOV members that we give a platform of ministry too. They would not otherwise have a place to exercise their ministry gifts. I am amazed at how the Lord have opened other doors for them because they were allowed to operate in the anointing that God has given them at the WOV Breakfast meeting. This is what our WOV ministry is all about, helping to launch people into their prophetic destiny.

We started the year 2009 with our annual ordination service. We realize that ordinations come from God (John 15:16).  Ordination is for those INWM/WOV members that have started their own ministries and are going forward in the work of the Lord. We release them into their
calling by setting them apart by the laying on of hands (Matt:18-19).

At the end of the ordination process we present them with a prayer shawl to symbolize the prayer covering that they are coming under as one being ordained by INWM. This shawl is also presented to remind them that when they look upon it they are to remember the commandments of the Lord and do them. To seek not after their own will but rather seek the will of the Lord
(Numbers 15:37-41).
